Who are we?
Southtowns Auctions is an online only auction that was started in 2022 by Joe Calkins. A frequent purchaser of online auction items himself, he saw an opportunity to do things his way! Joe is a particular sort of fellow and wanted to improve upon what he disliked about the auctions he participated in. His focus for Southtowns Auctions is quality, variety and customer service.
Joe Calkins
Owner - Operator
Joe received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005. Since then he has worked as a Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and Operations Manager in manufacturing including the automotive industry.
Currently he is an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for a manufacturing company in Orchard Park, NY.
